What happens in a women's health appointment?
In clinic - We start the appointment taking a full history. I then conduct a full postural assessment, I check your joint mobility, strength and conduct some functional tests, if you consent to it I then complete a vaginal or rectal internal assessment if required.
At home- Like the clinic appointment we start by taking a thorough history. I conduct the same movement based assessment and if indicated I complete a vaginal or rectal assessment. It is helpful to have space in your home to do these tests. The internal assessment will be conducted on your bed
